What is Assisted Yoga? It is a style of bodywork that incorporates Yoga Poses (Asana) to stretch, move joints, manipulate, compress, shake, vibrate and other healing techniques known to Thai Massage.

How is a session performed? Yoga Therapists use sensitive caring touch to place clients in yoga poses while they relax and receive. These private sessions cultivate balance of the body’s energy meridians, increasing circulation and flexibility.

Where is Assisted Yoga performed? Customarily, it is performed on a floor mat. Depending on the location you choose it may be performed on a massage table.

How long is a session? Sessions can be 1/2 hour, 1 hour, 1 & 1/2 hour or last up to 2 hours

What do I wear? Wear loose-fitting or stretchy clothing that allows your body to move. No oils are needed. The unique therapeutic style dramatically transforms the client and the Therapist enters into a meditative awareness.

I work with my clients in a variety of positions, including prone, supine, side-lying, and seated. Each position and technique is adapted so you can stay in a meditative state.
