AcroYoga is Here!

Posted by on 2:15 pm in Assisted Yoga | 1 comment

Each Sunday at 1:30pm in my AssistedYoga Home Studio I hold space for AcroYoga. Today we experience the thrill of being swept off our feet. It was William Webb who showed up. I was honored to share my passion of this intimate form of yoga. We started off with me supporting him in DownDog. Which immediately I realized I was working to hard, so w his permission I swept him off his feet. Because my original posture had my feet on his hips and my hands on his shoulders I had him almost in an AcroSage position. I moved my feet to his thighs and...

Find yourself, so you can be the flyer, base or spotter, during facilitated sessions. From basic principles, SIMPLE connections, to fundamental flows, sessions will ask you to work as a group to build and discover the BLISS of AcroYoga. This is such a gentle approach to opening up to trust. Plus I love the way it balances hormones, increases the optimization of the Immune System. The first time I...

The Truth I choose to believe is a Multi-Dimensional being is “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself” biologically, energetically, physically, emotionally, chemically, neurobiological and genetically. Which is different than living by the unconscious affirmation that competition, strife,  success, fame, physical beauty, sexuality, positions and power are the be all and end all in life. Thanks Dr. Joe Dispenza for this inspiration from your book “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself”

Partner Yoga

In 1997 I feel in love with Partner Yoga. Over the years I’ve attended many training events. Connecting with another person is very energizing. Learn how to let go and be supported while supporting. It seems to magical to me when you pay attention to your breath and at the same time your partners and when 2 people breath in and out at the same time you become very present. So today when we push ourselves because of our To Do Lists – take a break. Do Poses with someone else and feel the magic of being present in the...

Chia Seed Water Beverage

Posted by on 10:28 pm in Recipes | 0 comments

Chia Seeds are light and have a nutty taste, odorless and will absorb any flavor they are soaked in. They are easy to add to recipes. Here is my favorite: 2 cups water 1/8 tsp. Maple extract 1/4 tsp. Stevia Mix all ingredients together and stir for 1 minute. Let sit 20 minutes or overnight. Daily intake recommendation: The WHO (and USDA) recommend a daily intake of at least 1200 mg ALA Omega-3 for a healthy diet. We recommend 2 tablespoons (20g) daily of chia seed, providing over 4000mg of Omega-3, to help you restore the lost balance between...

Feeding a Gluten-free Sourdough Starter

Posted by on 9:52 pm in Recipes | 0 comments

If you received a Sourdough Culture from me -(or someone else)- The starter must be fed at regular intervals in order to ensure a vigorous, healthy leavening agent. (keep in refrigerator, when not needed, see below for maintenance) When maintained at room temperature, the starter will always be fresh and ready to use for baking within a few hours of feeding. 1. Measure room temperature starter or remove ¼ cup starter from refrigerator. 2. Feed starter with GF flour and water every 4 hours by using one of the following methods: If using a...
